Required Skills
- Ability to perform comprehensive nursing assessments and ongoing monitoring throughout dialysis treatment
- Strong clinical judgment to recognize and respond to changes in patient condition, including treatment complications
- Skilled documentation and ability to track treatment details, vital signs, and patient response
- Effective communication with patients, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams
- Professional, patient-centered approach with a focus on safety, quality, and compliance
Nice to Have Skills
- Experience supporting day-to-day operational flow on a dialysis treatment floor (including patient flow/turnover support)
- Comfort supervising or guiding dialysis support staff (e.g., technicians) during patient care activities
Preferred Education and Experience
- BSN (or higher) preferred
- 1–2 years of dialysis nursing experience preferred
Other Requirements
- Active RN license (state license required)
- Active BLS certification
- Contract length: 12 weeks
Schedule expectation: 36 hours/week; shifts may be early start and variable, with rotating coverage across the week
