The Operating Room Open Heart (OR OH) specialty position is based in a healthcare facility specializing in cardiothoracic procedures. This role involves circulating in cardiothoracic, peripheral vascular, and transplant surgeries, including heart and lung transplants. The schedule consists of day shifts with a total of 10 hours per shift, requiring a minimum of 40 hours per week. The position is an ongoing assignment with a start date of November 9, 2026, and an end date of February 8, 2027.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Day shifts, 10 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: One year of experience, Cardiothoracic Operating Room (OR OH) specialty experience, circulating skills checklist demonstrating competency in cardiac procedures, and minimum education and certification requirements as applicable.
- Preferred Qualifications: Strong circulating skills in cardiac and thoracic cases, experience with transplant procedures, and familiarity with team-based intraoperative care.
- Additional Information: The role involves teamwork in a cardiac surgery environment, including participation in weekly on-call rotations and weekend shifts. The candidate must demonstrate proficiency in circulating for complex cardiac cases and be able to work effectively within a team setting. Travel and float are not required for this position.
