Job Summary:
- Provide direct patient care to critically ill cardiovascular patients in the CVICU.
- Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, surgeons, and other healthcare staff.
- Operate and manage advanced life support equipment and cardiovascular monitoring devices.
- Administer medications, including vasoactive drugs and other critical care therapies.
- Implement and adhere to evidence-based practices and hospital protocols.
- Educate patients and families regarding procedures, recovery, and care plans.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and execute appropriate interventions.
- Maintain accurate and thorough patient records.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and quality improvement initiatives.
Med Ninjas Job ID #19826. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
