Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit Cardiovascular (ICU OH) nurse located in a specialized CVICU unit. This role involves caring for cardiac patients both pre- and post-operatively within a newly established, specialized eight-bed CVICU connected to a fourteen-bed pediatric intensive care unit. The position requires flexibility to support surgical cases, with responsibilities including working closely with surgical and intensivist teams, and being available for on-call shifts.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, at least one year of experience in intensive care, current driver's license or state ID, successful completion of Ascension profile, and three professional references.
- Preferred Qualifications: Not specified.
- Float: Float rotation may be required to Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), Pediatric (Peds), and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
- Additional Information: The unit is a new and specialized CVICU that works in close collaboration with surgical teams and intensivist teams to provide comprehensive cardiac care. The role involves supporting surgical cases with flexibility and willingness to be on call.
