Job Summary:
Coronary Care Unit (CCU) nurse position is located in Chicago, IL. This role entails providing specialized cardiac care within a high-level telemetry setting during the night shift. Candidates will be responsible for managing patients with complex cardiovascular needs and utilizing advanced cardiac monitoring technology.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night Shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Illinois Registered Nurse License; BLS (Basic Life Support); ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support); NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale); 5 years minimum experience in a Coronary Care Unit (CCU) or high-level telemetry setting. Candidates must be proficient with titratable drips, Bi-PAP, and long-term vents. A strong cardiac nursing background is essential; rehabilitation experience is not applicable.
- Preferred Qualifications: Over 5 years of experience; experience in Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) and CCU settings.
- Float: Float: Float rotation may be required to like Medical/Surgical Units and IMCU.
- Additional Information: Position starts on 09/27/2026 and concludes on 01/17/2027. The orientation includes 12 hours of onboarding, with 6 hours non-billable. The assignment is open and requires candidates to commence as soon as possible.
