Genie Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Cath Lab for a travel nursing job in Des Moines, Iowa.

We are seeking an experienced Cardiac Cath Lab Travel RN for an opportunity in Des Moines, Iowa. The ideal candidate will have at least 24 months of recent Cardiac Cath Lab experience, strong circulating and monitoring skills, and the ability to float between Des Moines campuses as needed.

Schedule & On-Call Requirements
- Day shift: 7:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Four 10-hour shifts per week, Monday–Friday, with a rotating weekday off
- On-call: 1–2 nights per week
- Weekend call: Every third weekend, Friday at 7:30 PM through Monday at 7:00 AM
- Weekend responsibilities primarily involve call coverage, with assigned cases on rare occasions
- Must be willing to float across all Des Moines campuses to like units; campuses are within minutes of one another
- Must precept staff as needed
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 24 months of recent Cardiac Cath Lab/CCL experience
- Circulating and monitoring experience
- Trauma Level II experience
- Active Iowa RN license or compact/multistate license at the time of submission
- Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification
- Current AHA or American Red Cross ACLS certification
- Must live at least 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted
Preferred Qualifications
- Structural heart experience
- Electrophysiology (EP) experience
- Previous travel nursing experience
- Scrubbing experience
- Trauma Level I experience
