PAY:
Travelers Pay: 
Taxable Amount - $56/hr on W2
Lodging Stipend - $700 weekly
Meals Stipend - $560 weekly
Weekly Gross - $3,500 weekly including stipend for 40 hours.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Position - RN-Cardiac Cath Lab
Location - Mattoon, IL 61938
Duration - 13 weeks contract
Shift - 10 hours day

Weekly Hours - 40 hours 

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide pre-, intra-, and post-procedure nursing care to cardiac patients.
Prepare patients for cardiac catheterization, angioplasty, and stent placement.
Assist cardiologists during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.
Monitor ECG, vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and hemodynamic status.
Administer conscious sedation, anticoagulants, and other medications as ordered.
Maintain sterile technique and assist with catheter and guidewire procedures.
Monitor patients for complications, including bleeding, arrhythmias, and contrast reactions.
Assist with pacemaker and ICD implantation procedures when required.
Perform sheath removal, vascular access site monitoring, and hemostasis.
Respond to cardiac emergencies and assist with ACLS interventions.
Educate patients regarding procedures, medications, and post-procedure care.
Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately.

REQUIREMENT:
3+ years of experience within the specialty required.

Circulating and holding room experience, EP experience would be a bonus.  

Illinois RN License, BLS AHA required

No local candidates within 50 miles.
