Med Ninjas is seeking a travel nurse RN NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care for a travel nursing job in Urbana, Illinois.

Job Summary (List Format):
- Assumes responsibility for a designated group of patients during assigned shifts.
- Provides comprehensive patient care utilizing the nursing process and current nursing trends.
- Adheres to institutional philosophy and effectively uses technology and available resources.
- Performs unit-specific nursing duties and procedures within defined scope of service.
- Maintains accurate and timely documentation of all nursing care provided.
- Conducts initial assessments on patient admission and develops individualized care plans based on patient and family needs.
- Implements and regularly updates patient care plans, nursing interventions, and procedures.
- Continuously evaluates and modifies care plans as patient needs change.
- Ensures safety for patients and staff by promptly reporting or correcting safety hazards/incidents.
- Communicates effectively, including resolving issues privately and offering constructive feedback to peers.
- Provides support for the professional development of colleagues and shares knowledge to enhance team learning.
- Identifies personal learning needs and proactively seeks education or solutions.
- Meets all departmental competency requirements and maintains relevant certifications/licenses.
- Requires a minimum of 2-3 years of relevant nursing experience.
- Must have an Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) degree.
- Holds an active Illinois RN license, BLS, and NRP certifications (American Heart Association).
Med Ninjas Job ID #17951. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
