Registered Nurse – MS/Tele
Location: Jerseyville, IL 62052

Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Night 4x12 hours (19:00–07:00)
Schedule: 48 hours/week; every other weekend; no block scheduling
Patient Ratio: 1:4 on unit; experience with 1:4–6 required
Charting System: Cerner

Call Requirement: Not specified
Note: 26-bed unit with average daily census of 8. Acute care hospital. Must have both adult and geriatric experience. Travel experience required. Occasionally may titrate Cardizem and amiodarone. Free parking; scrub color any.
Position Overview: Provide medical-surgical and telemetry nursing care for adult and geriatric patients, including cardiac monitoring, IV therapy, respiratory support, post-operative care, neurological conditions, renal conditions, and management of cardiac drips.
Requirements:
License: Valid IL state RN license.
Experience: Minimum 1 year of MS/Tele experience; travel experience required
Certifications: BLS required; ACLS and NIHSS preferred
Other requirement: Experience with telemetry, dysrhythmia management, IV therapy/phlebotomy, central/PICC/port care, blood products, oxygen therapy, BiPAP/CPAP, HFNC, CBI, heparin protocols, cardiac drips, rapid response/code teams, wound care, and post-operative orthopedic/cardiac patients.
Patient Population: Adults, geriatrics
Patient Diagnoses: CHF, COPD, UTI, SBO, NSTEMI, CVA, seizure disorders, renal failure, post-op knee replacement, hip fracture repair/replacement, post-op wound debridement with positive blood cultures.
