Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience required
- First-time travelers accepted
- BLS & NIH required
- EPIC experience required
- Remote telemetry monitoring experience required
- Feeding tube care and management required
- Patient ratio experience: 1:5–1:6
- Every other weekend required
- Holidays as needed
- Floating required between all Cone Health facilities
Required Skills:
- Central line, PICC and peripheral line management
- Port access
- Blood product administration
- Starting IVs
- CVA/Stroke care
- Nasal cannula
- Isolation precautions
- Wound care/Wound VAC
Unit Details:
- Inpatient unit caring for patients with multiple comorbidities
- Specialized focus on stroke/neuro patients
- Typical nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:5–1:6
