Registered Nurse Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of recent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience required
• Active permanent Ohio RN license or compact RN license in hand at time of submission
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• NIHSS certification preferred
• One recent reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager (ANM), supervisor, or director in the specialty required
• All required certifications must be active and in hand; pending items are not accepted
• Must be able to complete orientation assessments as required
• Travel nurses must meet all compliance and submission requirements prior to consideration

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate nursing care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, assess patient status, and respond to changes in condition
• Administer medications and treatments according to the plan of care
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to support optimal outcomes
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and in a timely manner
• Support patient education, discharge planning, and continuity of care
• Maintain professionalism while adapting to a dynamic night-shift acute care environment
