Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse specializing in Med Surg in St. Louis, MO. This is a fantastic opportunity for RNs looking for a contract position in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care to patients in the Neurosurgery unit specializing in pre- and post-operative cranial and spinal surgery.
- Maintain care for general neurology and stroke patients.
- Manage intermittently drained lumbar and surgical drains.
- Adhere to protocols for administering medications and treatments, with specific restrictions on certain drips and procedures.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an RN.
- ACLS, BCLS, and NIH certifications required.
- Must be willing to float within scope to meet facility needs.
- Local candidates must reside at least 75 miles from the facility.
- Pending licenses are accepted.
- RTO restrictions: no more than 7 days of RTO per 13-week contract.
- Guaranteed hours available.

- Orientation parking at Laclede Garage (4929 Forest Park Ave, St. Louis MO 63108) incurs a $15.00 charge.
- No charge for parking on straight night shifts; employee parking available.
- Day/night rotation workers will need to obtain a parking pass for $70.00 per month.
