Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Travel RN in the ICU, located in Dallas, TX. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment while providing critical care to patients in the MICU. We are seeking dedicated and experienced RNs to join our team for a 13-week contract assignment.
Unit Highlights:
- Unit: MICU (650)
- Guaranteed Hours: 36
- Special Skills/Experience Required: 2 years + MICU/MSICU experience
- Documentation System: Meditech
- Type of Equipment: All ICU equipment including ventilators, NXStage, Arctic Sun, GE Cardiac Output monitor
Hiring Profile:
Must Have:
- 2+ years MICU/MSICU experience
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Meditech
Certifications Required:
- Active RN TX license (temporary license will not be accepted)
Procedures Performed on Unit:
- Central line placements
- Bedside procedures such as thoracentesis, dialysis catheter placements, cardioversions, intubations, and all other ICU procedures
Dress Code:
- Scrub Color: Royal Blue Scrubs
- Nail Policy: Clean and healthy, no artificial nails, gel, next gen, etc.
- Hair: Neat and clean with no extreme styles or colors; must be pulled back if shoulder length or longer
- Tattoos: Body art should be covered whenever possible
- Piercings: Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited
