Job Summary
Registered Nurse, Medical Surgical With Telemetry, Willits. The position delivers coordinated nursing care for assigned patients while supervising nursing staff and coordinating interdisciplinary care. Responsibilities include applying the nursing process, exercising clinical judgment, promoting patient safety, and supporting continuity of care.
Job Details
- Schedule: Night shifts from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.; 12-hour shifts; minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice; Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) or Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross (ARC); Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross (ARC); experience with Epic; required vaccinations, where applicable.
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN); acute care experience; Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
- Responsibilities: Collect and analyze patient data; develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans; coordinate care delivery; promote a safe and healing environment; provide health education to patients, families, and care team members; participate in discharge planning; delegate appropriately; and coordinate the duties of healthcare team members.
