Job Details
- Position Description: Delivers coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process. Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff, and coordinates care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment.
- Education and Work Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) Preferred; Acute care facility experience Preferred; Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice Required; Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) Required.
- Certifications: AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS Required.
- Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week.
- Essential Functions: Collects relevant patient data, analyzes assessment data, develops and implements care plans, evaluates progress, and collaborates with the healthcare team. Provides patient education, participates in discharge planning, delegates duties appropriately, and performs other related duties as assigned.
- Additional Information: The candidate must have EPIC experience. Holiday time-off requests will not be approved.
