Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical/Surgical
Location: Grady Memorial Hospital, 80 Jesse Hill Jr. Dr. SE, Atlanta, GA 30303
Contract Duration: 16 Weeks
Shift: Nights – 3 × 12-hour shifts
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Unit Details

Unit Type: Dedicated Education Unit (Med/Surg patient care)

Patient Population: Mixed Medical/Surgical

Patient-to-Nurse Ratio: 5–6:1

Time Off: No RTO (Requested Time Off)
Important: Although this is a dedicated education unit, travel nurses will provide direct patient care to Medical/Surgical patients and will not be responsible for educating students.
Requirements
-
Minimum 2 years of recent Medical/Surgical RN experience

Experience in a Level I Trauma Center or a medium-to-large hospital required

BLS required
-
ACLS preferred
-
Positive attitude, strong teamwork, and punctuality are essential
Ideal Candidate
A dependable and adaptable Med/Surg RN with strong patient care skills, the ability to manage a 5–6:1 patient ratio, and experience working in a fast-paced hospital environment.
