Job Summary
Registered Nurse, Medical-Surgical Floor, Mayfield, KY The organization is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to provide care for patients of all ages in a medical-surgical setting. The role supports a diverse patient population, including individuals with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, postoperative joint conditions, and diabetes.
Job Details
- Schedule: Night shifts consisting of 12-hour shifts, with 36 hours per week. Assignment dates are 11/08/2026 through 02/07/2027.
- Required Qualifications:
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Kentucky
- At least 1 year of experience
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certification, including HWC/MAB requirements
- Additional Information:
- Weekend coverage is required every other weekend or as needed.
- Call coverage may be required as needed.
- Patient assignments may include up to six patients with patient care assistant support.
- The patient population includes individuals of all ages.
- Common diagnoses include chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, postoperative joint conditions, and diabetes.
- Weekly orientation is conducted on Mondays.
- Scrub colors are unrestricted; branded attire from other facilities is not permitted.
