Registered Nurse - Medical / Surgical (Nursing)
Overview
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with a focus on Medical/Surgical care. This position requires a dedicated professional with recent experience in an acute care oncology setting.
Schedule
The position requires flexibility with working hours, typically from 7 AM to 7 PM.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a medical/surgical unit.
- Monitor patient progress and report any changes in condition to the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Document patient care and maintain accurate medical records.
- Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a medical/surgical nursing role, preferably within an acute care setting.
- Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
Holiday Expectations
The selected candidate must be available to work a minimum of two major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and one minor holiday (Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve).
