Job Summary
Medical Surgical Orthopedic Floor Bowling Green, KY. The position supports patient-centered care for orthopedic and medical-surgical patients in a collaborative inpatient setting. Responsibilities include managing patient assignments, using teamwork strategies, and providing quality care to patients at all experience levels.
Job Details
- Schedule: Day shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; positive attitude; ability to manage a patient load; commitment to teamwork and patient-centered care.
- Additional Information: The unit includes 30 orthopedic beds and 37 medical-surgical beds, with typical patient ratios of 6:1. Staff may float to inpatient units and assist with tasks in critical care and emergency departments. Full-time schedules are arranged in four-week increments and include four weekend shifts per month. Required attire includes scrub tops and bottoms; fleece, hoodies, sweatshirts, sweaters, denim, camouflage, and shoes with holes are not permitted.
