Job Summary
A Medical Surgical Neurology (MS Neuro) Registered Nurse (RN) is sought for a temporary assignment in a short-term acute care facility. The position involves providing specialized neurological nursing care across various units, with the flexibility to float between units as needed. This role requires proficiency in neuro skills and certification in the National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS).
Job Details
- Certifications: BLS, NIHSS
- Education Requirements: Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in a valid state or compact license in hand at submission
- Role: Medical Surgical Neurology (MS Neuro) RN
- Location: Multiple facilities within the organizations network
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: 2 years of experience as an RN, neuro skills proficiency (scores of 3 or 4), NIHSS certification, recent experience with neuro patients, charting experience with Epic electronic medical record system, valid RN license, vehicle required for assignment
- Additional Information: Must be able to float between units; candidates should be prepared for possible assignments to various organization locations; RTO requests must be made upfront during submittal; candidates should not contact facility staff directly unless explicitly instructed.
