Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to patients on Medical-Surgical and Telemetry units.
- Float to different Medical-Surgical areas based on facility staffing needs.
- Assess, monitor, and document patients' conditions, including vital signs and cardiac rhythms.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Recognize and promptly report changes in patient conditions.
- Monitor telemetry readings and respond appropriately to abnormal cardiac rhythms.
- Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary healthcare team to coordinate patient care.
- Maintain accurate patient documentation using the Epic EMR system.
- Follow infection control procedures, patient safety standards, and hospital policies.
- Adapt to varying patient populations and workflows across Medical-Surgical units.
Requirements - Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical/Telemetry (M/S Tele) nursing experience required. - Active RN license required, with Nursys license verification. - BLS and ACLS certifications required. - Epic EMR experience required. - Must be willing to float to all Medical-Surgical units as needed. - No time-off requests (RTO) permitted. - Resume/work history must have no employment gaps greater than 60 days. - Required submission documents: - Updated resume with complete work history. - Skills checklist. - Professional references. - Certification cards. - Nursys license verification. - All demographic information must be completed in the candidate profile. - A badge-appropriate photograph must be uploaded.
