General Information

Tell us about the unit(s):

· Number of Beds – 80 total, 40 beds east, 40 beds on west.

· Number of Staff – 3CVE-104/ 3CVW-79

· Type of staff:

o Day Shift – CNC/charge, 10 nurses, 1.5 breaks, 3CNAs, 1 UC sitter provided when needed.

o Night Shift - CNC/charge, 10 nurses, 1.5 breaks, 3CNAs, sitter provide when needed.

· Patient Ratios – 4:1 telemetry patients, 3:1 PCU

· Type of equipment – Alaris pumps, telemetry boxes, hoya lift, wound vacs, immobile, PCS pumps, glucometer, mobilab, etc

· EMR - Meditech

Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

· Experience in telemetry 1.5-2 years of experience

Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.

· PCU/Telemetry/stroke

· Meditech experience

List typical procedures performed on unit(s): type of patients:

· Angiograms, post op day 3 open hearts, stroke patients, PCIs, various post op surgeries, etc

· Swallow dysphagia, TR bands maintenance, chest tubes, wound vacs, rhythm interpretation, etc

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:

· ACLS/BLS ,NIHSS

Floating Area(s):

· 3cvwe/3cvw/med surgical units (when needed).
