Opportunity:

RN - MS/Tele Float Pool

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts with both day (7:00 AM to 7:00 PM) and night (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM) shift options available
• Every other weekend requirement
• Holiday requirement applies
• No call or standby requirement
• Centralized scheduling system
• Patient ratio of 1:6 with nurse aides managing 10-12 patients
• Float requirement within Region I facilities as needed, with an additional $20 per hour when floated to a non-primary facility
• First to float designation applies
• Must have experience with dialysis patients, cardiac skills, and telemetry
• Preferred experience with PCU/ICU
• Common diagnoses include heart dysrhythmias, GI issues, dialysis, and general medical patients
• Required to titrate low-dose dopamine and a few other drips
• Telemetry monitoring handled by a regionalized system where techs monitor all EKG strips throughout the hospital
• Charge nurse and house supervisor available on unit
• Charting system: EPIC
• 1-2 days of unit-specific orientation provided
• Scrub color: Any professional colors
• Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment or 3 shifts for assignments less than 13 weeks
• Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), NIHSS
• BSN not required
• Active Washington state license required
