Job description
United Staffing Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Springfield, Vermont.

Position: Med Surg / Telemetry RN - adaptive acuity unit
Schedule: 12-hour nights, 7:00 PM-7:30 AM, 36-hour guarantee; every other weekend and holidays as needed. A 48-hour guarantee is not available and block scheduling is not accommodated
Experience: 2+ years current med/surg and telemetry; charge experience required and non-negotiable; PCU/stepdown strongly required; drip experience required; ICU strongly preferred; minimum 3 months previous travel required; small critical access facility experience preferred
Unit: 25 beds at a 1:5 ratio; this is an adaptive acuity unit, so travelers will at times provide PCU care at 3:1 - that care is non-negotiable and may not be refused
Duties: Full med/surg and telemetry care plus charge responsibility; manage insulin, esmolol and sodium drips; float to any inpatient unit within scope of practice
Note: Traveler must have their own vehicle and a permanent address in the profile; all RTO must be declared at submission - no more than 5 days, and none approved afterwards; travelers must work two holiday blocks if scheduled
