Travel Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) – 13-Week Night Shift Contract in Euclid, Ohio

Travel Nursing Job Details

• Location: Euclid, Ohio, near Lake Erie and the greater Cleveland area
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,910–$2,010
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: November 13, 2026
• Schedule: 3 shifts per week
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.
• Employment Type: Travel nursing contract
• Orientation: 16 hours, with required clinical assessments during orientation

Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio or an active compact-state license in hand at the time of submission
• At least 1 year of recent permanent medical-surgical telemetry nursing experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Recent Epic electronic health record (EHR) charting experience within the last 6 months
• One recent professional reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, director, or charge nurse within the specialty
• Successful completion of an ECG rhythm recognition assessment and medication safety assessment during orientation
• Active, current certifications must be available at the time of submission
• Ability to meet required background screening, health screening, and facility compliance standards
• Willingness to work at least every other holiday during the contract

Medical-Surgical Telemetry RN Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to adult medical-surgical and telemetry patients during overnight shifts
• Perform focused and comprehensive nursing assessments, identify changes in patient condition, and escalate concerns promptly
• Continuously monitor cardiac rhythms, recognize dysrhythmias, and communicate significant findings to the appropriate care team members
• Administer medications and treatments safely while following established clinical protocols
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately in Epic
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing colleagues, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate individualized patient care
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatments, medications, and discharge plans
• Prioritize care effectively in a fast-paced inpatient environment while maintaining patient safety and professional standards
