Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical-Surgical
Facility Type/Setting: Hospital / Medical-Surgical Unit
Shift & Schedule: 4x12 Hour Night Shift (12 hrs)
Weekly Hours: 48
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Requirements:
- Active Michigan RN license.
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical nursing experience.
- ACLS certification preferred.
- Emergency Department (ED) experience preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care to patients admitted to the Medical-Surgical unit.
- Care for primarily geriatric patients with CHF, COPD, diabetes, and other general medical conditions.
- Assess patient conditions and monitor clinical changes.
- Administer medications and provide nursing interventions according to patient needs.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to support patient care and treatment plans.
- Document patient care using the facility's electronic systems.
