Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience as an RN – Med Surg.
- Active Illinois RN License required.
- Current BLS certification required.
- Current ACLS certification required.
- Strong clinical assessment, critical-thinking, and patient-care skills.
- Provide direct nursing care to adult patients on a medical-surgical unit.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor, document, and report patient symptoms and changes in condition.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatments, medications, and post-discharge care.
Med Ninjas Job ID #18525. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
