Key Responsibilities
- Contribute professional and clinical knowledge as part of an interdisciplinary care team in the provision and management of patient care
- Care for patients across orthopedic, urology, general surgery, oncology, and medical populations
- Administer drips including Heparin, PCA, and epidural; chemotherapy administration if certified
- May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses
- Expected to work 2 of 3 winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, New Year's Day)
Required Qualifications
- Active Iowa RN license
- Active BLS certification (AHA preferred; ARC or U.S. Military certificates also accepted)
- Active ACLS certification (AHA preferred; ARC or U.S. Military certificates also accepted)
- Active NIHSS certification (may be obtained during onboarding)
- Minimum 2 years of Medical Surgical and/or Oncology experience
- Valid driver's license required; all candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
- High-acuity care experience
- Prior travel nursing experience
- Chemotherapy administration certification
