Job Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience
- Active Ohio RN license in hand prior to start
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Cerner charting experience required
- Ability to work night shifts and participate in an every-other-weekend rotation
- Flexibility to float as needed based on clinical experience and unit needs
- Strong communication, teamwork, and time-management skills
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to adult Medical/Surgical patients
- Monitor patient conditions, assess changes, and respond appropriately to clinical needs
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with care plans and nursing standards
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient progress accurately in the electronic health record
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members to support positive patient outcomes
- Maintain patient safety, infection prevention, and quality care practices throughout each shift
- Adapt to floating assignments when needed while delivering professional, patient-centered care
