Med Surg Registered Nurse (RN)
Position Overview
We are seeking experienced Med Surg Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our team for a 13-week contract. Successful candidates will be dedicated to providing high-quality nursing care to patients within multiple Med Surg units.
Position Details
- Start Date: ASAP
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: Nights, 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM
- Floating: Required between two Med Surg units
Units and Patient Care
The position involves working across the 5th and 6th-floor Med Surg units, which include:
- 5th Floor: Ortho, Surgical, Stroke
- 6th Floor: Med Surg/Tele, Cardiac, Respiratory, Dialysis, Hospice
The facility has a total of 36 beds with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:6, depending on patient acuity.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of Med Surg experience required
- Current BLS certification required
Additional Information
- Request for time off (RTO) is limited to 1 week
- Blocked scheduling requests may be considered but are not guaranteed; agreeable days include Thursday, Friday, Saturday, or Friday, Saturday, Sunday
