Malone Healthcare - Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Albany, Georgia.

This is a Med/Surg / Telemetry RN position.
Candidate Requirements
- Experience: 1 year RN experience plus at least 1 completed travel assignment
- Certifications: BLS + NIHSS — AHA required
- License: Active RN license applicable to the assignment
- Radius: Strict 75-mile rule based on the address on the candidate’s driver’s license
- Driver’s-license address must be provided with submission for verification
- EMR: Meditech preferred, but not required
- Patient Ratio: 1:5, potentially 1:6
- Shift: 12-hour shifts, 6:45 AM–7:15 PM / 6:45 PM–7:15 AM
- Weekend: Every other weekend
- Holidays: As needed
- Float: Required to acute-care units and cardio; may care for medical patients or acute-care holds
- Telemetry: Yes
- Orientation: 1 week general orientation + 2 days unit-specific
- Scrubs: Caribbean Blue
Best Candidates to Target
Med/Surg, Med/Surg Tele, Telemetry, or acute-care RNs who have:
- At least 1 year of recent experience
- 1 completed travel assignment
- AHA BLS + NIHSS
- Willingness to float
- Residence more than 75 miles from the hospital based specifically on their driver’s-license address.
