Join our team as a Med Surg RN at a leading acute care hospital in Somerset, KY. This contract position offers the opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art facility that provides healthcare services for an 11-county service area in south central Kentucky. With a staff of more than 1,200 healthcare professionals and support personnel, you will be part of a collaborative environment dedicated to delivering high-quality patient care.
**Position Information:**
- Role: RN
- Specialty: Med/Surg
- Shift: 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM
- Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Required Certifications: All Travelers must have REQUIRED certifications prior to start. Client reserves the right to require certifications not listed. Please refer to LPNT checklist for the most up-to-date requirements.
- Experience: 1-2 years in an acute care facility
- Float Requirements: May be required to float within a 25-mile radius of the facility
This facility is known for its advanced cardiac care and neurosurgery program, with Spine Center accreditation. It is the largest private employer in the region and employs over 170 physicians representing 38 medical specialties. Orientation is weekly on Mondays, and candidates must be 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for this travel position.
