Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in an acute care inpatient oncology/medical-surgical setting
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
- Monitor and document patient condition, progress, and response to treatment
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
- Adhere to facility holiday scheduling requirements, including working 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Medical/Surgical nursing
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in an inpatient oncology environment
- Familiarity with acute care workflows and documentation systems
- Strong critical thinking and clinical assessment skills
