Job Summary
Long Term Care nursing position supporting residents in a post-acute care setting. The role involves medication administration, treatments, admissions, transfers, discharges, and fall reporting while coordinating care with nursing assistants and other support staff.
Job Details
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week; every other weekend and holiday required.
- Required Qualifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum of 1 year of experience
- Active license required for submission; candidates with a pending license may be considered
- Additional Information:
- Assignment dates: 11/23/202603/01/2027
- Must be able to complete admissions and understand the admission process.
- Must be able to perform transfers, discharges, and fall reporting.
- Responsible for medication passes and resident treatments.
- Night staffing may include up to two certified nursing assistants for a resident-to-caregiver ratio of up to 1:35.
- Day staffing may include a medication aide, up to three certified nursing assistants, and a bath aide on weekdays.
- No on-call or callback responsibilities are available.
- Documentation is completed using a computerized charting system.
