Labor & Delivery RN and OB Nurse Manager Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado or a compact state
• Minimum of 3 years of Labor & Delivery or OB nursing experience
• Leadership experience within the past 2 years
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Demonstrated ability to lead people, manage resources, and support effective clinical operations
• Willingness and ability to provide bedside nursing coverage as needed
• Successful completion of a Colorado Adult Protective Services check
• Reliable personal transportation, as public transportation is limited in this rural location

Labor & Delivery Nursing Responsibilities

• Supervise patient care, nursing staff, and Labor & Delivery operations
• Provide clinical leadership while maintaining the ability to work bedside Registered Nurse shifts as needed
• Collaborate with leadership to promote efficient clinical operations and high-quality OB patient care
• Support staff development, education, coaching, and performance improvement
• Coordinate staffing and resources to meet patient care needs
• Promote quality improvement initiatives and compliance with nursing standards
• Assist with call coverage and weekday operational needs
• Foster a collaborative, patient-centered environment for expectant parents, newborns, families, and the care team
