Location: Richmond, VA
Unit Type: Labor and Delivery
- Number of Beds: 16 LDR, 3 OR, 3 Triage, 3 Recovery Rooms
- Number of Staff: 70
- Patient Ratios: AWHONN ratios goal; could be 1:1, 2:1, or 3:1 (low acuity)
Staffing Information
- Day Shift: 1 Charge Nurse, 12 RNs, 2-3 Surgical Technicians
- Night Shift: 1 Charge Nurse, 6-7 RNs, 1 Surgical Technician

Qualifications
Must Have:
- Current Intermediate Fetal Heart Monitoring (within previous 2 years)
- Labor and Delivery experience
- Current NRP and BLS certifications
Preferred:
- Experience at facilities with over 3000 births per year
- Strong focus on patient preferences
Role Responsibilities
- Labor, delivery, recovery, and triage of patients
- Circulate for C-sections
- Assist with first hour baby care (excluding admission assessment, eyes, and thighs)
- Provide breastfeeding assistance
