Join a leading acute-care hospital in Nashville, TN, as a Travel RN in the Labor & Delivery (L&D) unit. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, providing high-quality care to patients during their most critical moments. Unit Specifics:
- Number of Beds: 12
- Patient Ratios: 1:2
- Unit Staffing Description: RNs, unit secretary, OR techs
- Documentation System: CPN, Meditach
- Scheduling Requirements: 3 weekend shifts, 1 call shift for RNs, 2 call shifts for techs, 3 12-hour shifts
- Floating Policy: Travelers float first
Patient Experience Requirements: Shared decision-making is essential in this unit.
Hospital Specifics:
- Certifications Required: For RNs - NRP, ACLS, BLS, AWHONN Intermediate (not advanced) or CEFM; OR techs must have FA certification.
Hiring Profile Requested Skill Set:
- Labor and Delivery Experience: Must have 2 years of L&D experience.
- Advanced Skills Needed: Care of the laboring patient, care of the newborn immediately after delivery, circulate and recover c/s patients.
- Procedures Performed on Unit: Vaginal deliveries, c-sections, D&C, cerclage, epidural anesthesia, tub labor.
Dress Code: Scrubs are not provided by the hospital. Required colors are Ceil Blue, Navy Blue, or Gray.
Unit Guidelines/Policies: Please attach unit-specific policies and guidelines.
