Registered Nurse (RN) - Labor and Delivery
Unit Information
Join a dynamic and skilled team in our Labor & Delivery and Antepartum unit, featuring:
- 19 labor beds
- 5 OBED beds
- 3 PACU beds
- 3 Surgical beds
- 8 Antepartum beds
- 55 staff members
Shift Information
This position requires:
- Day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
- Mandatory two weekend shifts per month
- Possibly four weekend shifts per month
Patient Ratios
- 2:1 for labor
- 3:1 for OBED
- 4:1 for Antepartum
- 1:1 in the OR
Essential Qualifications
The ideal candidate must possess:
- Experience in OBED, circulating C-sections
- Ability to manage high-risk antepartum cases
- Labor experience
- Experience managing COVID-19 patients in Labor, C-Section, Antepartum, and OBED
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced family medicine experience
Typical Procedures Performed
- C-sections
- Cerclage placements
- BTL procedures
- D&C for postpartum hemorrhage only
Required Certifications
- Intermediate Family Medicine
- ACLS
- BLS
- NRP
Floating Areas
May require floating to the low-risk Antepartum unit as needed.
Dress Code
Royal blue scrubs are required; t-shirts are not permitted.
