Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery (L&D) registered nurse position in Weatherford, TX. This role involves providing compassionate care to patients during labor, delivery, and postpartum periods in a small unit environment. The employment duration is approximately three months, with the opportunity to support a dedicated team focused on delivering exceptional patient experiences.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Candidates must have 2+ years of experience in labor and delivery, neonatal resuscitation program (NRP) certification, and experience managing deliveries including cesarean section (CS) and spontaneous vaginal delivery (SVD).
- Preferred Qualifications: Candidates with additional skills in catching babies during deliveries, routine postpartum (PP) care, circumcisions, and GYN postpartum patients will be considered first.
- Patient Ratios: 1:3 couplets
- Unit Information:
- 10-bed Mom Baby unit
- Staff: 2-3 RNs per shift depending on patient acuity
- Equipment: Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems including CPN and Meditech
- Unit Environment:
- Patient-centered, teamwork-oriented, and supportive staff
