Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Travel RN specializing in Labor & Delivery (L&D) in Corpus Christi, TX. This contract position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment while providing essential care to patients during labor and delivery.
Unit Information:
- Number of Beds: 19 labor, 5 OBED, 3 PACU, 3 Surgical, 8 Antepartum
- Number of Staff: 55
- Patient Ratios: 2:1 labors, 3:1 OBED, 4:1 Antepartum, 1:1 OR
Typical Procedures Performed:
- C-Sections
- Cerclage
- BTL
- D&C for PPH only
Required Skills and Certifications:
- Must have experience in OBED, circulating C-sections, managing high-risk antepartums, and labor experience.
- Must be able to manage COVID patients in labor/C-section/antepartum/OBED.
- Required Certifications: Int. FM, ACLS, BLS, NRP
Preferred Skills:
- Advanced FM
Best Personality Fit: Candidates should demonstrate great teamwork and the ability to adapt to fast-paced environments.
Unit Guidelines:
- Mandatory 2 weekend shifts a month, with possibly four weekend shifts a month.
- No on-call shifts required.
