Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery RN experience.
- Critical Access Hospital experience required.
- Active RN license.
- BLS and NRP certifications required (NRP may be obtained after offer but before start).
- ACLS required.
- Cerner experience required.
- AWHONN Intermediate certification preferred.
- Must be comfortable caring for laboring patients and newborns.
Clinical Responsibilities
- Provide care to patients throughout labor and delivery.
- Monitor maternal and fetal conditions.
- Perform newborn assessments and provide newborn care.
- Manage IV therapy, phlebotomy, and medication administration.
- Provide postpartum care following vaginal delivery.
- Maintain patient safety and follow infection control protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team.
