📍 Location: Hilo, Hawaii
📅 Contract Length: 13 Weeks
🗓️ Start Date: November & Mid December
🕒 Shift: Variable 12-hour shifts (Days & Nights)
⏱️ Hours: 36 hours/week
🏥 Specialty: Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Newborn Nursery
🖥️ EMR: Epic; GE/Centricity fetal monitoring system
📞 On-Call: At least one 12-hour call shift per month
🎄 Holiday Coverage: Required
🏥 Unit: 8 Labor Beds and 18 Postpartum Beds
✈️ Important: Must arrive Thursday, December 17, for the Friday Employee Health appointment before the assignment begins.
✅ Requirements
🪪 Hawaii RN license required by the assignment start date. Candidates without an active HI license must apply upon offer acceptance.
❤️ BLS/BCLS certification required
👶 NRP certification required
🩺 STABLE certification listed in the credentialing requirements
📈 Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification recommended
👩⚕️ Minimum 3 years of Labor & Delivery RN experience
🤱 Experience caring for laboring mothers, assisting with deliveries, providing immediate newborn care, and managing postpartum patients
🖥️ Familiarity with electronic fetal monitoring systems
🔄 Flexibility to work variable day/night shifts, holidays, and scheduled on-call rotations
