Job Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of combined permanent experience in Labor & Delivery required
• Active permanent Ohio RN license or compact RN license in hand at time of submission
• Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and Basic Fetal Monitoring certifications required
• Experience caring for antepartum patients, high-risk pregnancies, and maternal health patients preferred
• Ability to provide safe, compassionate care in a high-acuity obstetric and women’s health environment
• Strong communication, teamwork, critical thinking, and clinical assessment skills

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care for laboring and antepartum patients with a variety of high-risk needs
• Monitor and care for patients experiencing preeclampsia, hypertension, preterm labor, bleeding, and multiple gestation pregnancies
• Support patients and families throughout the labor and delivery process with professionalism, empathy, and education
• Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to promote safe, individualized outcomes
• Assess patient status, respond to changes in condition, and escalate concerns appropriately
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow established nursing standards and protocols
