Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Travel RN in Labor & Delivery (L&D) in Arlington, TX. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where your skills and expertise will make a significant impact on patient care.
Unit Information:
- Number of Beds: 23
- Patient Ratios: 2:1
- Day Shift Staff: 1 CNC, 6 RNs, 2 CST, 3 OR RNs, 1 Sec
- Night Shift Staff: 1 CNC, 4-6 RNs, 1 CST, 1 Sec
- EMR: CPN/Meditech
- On Call Requirement: 1 shift every 4 weeks
- Floating Requirement: within women's - PP/Ante
Typical Procedures Performed:
- All high-risk OB care; magnesium drips, insulin drips
- Circulate, scrub
Typical Hiring Profile:
- Must Have: 1 year travel experience in high-risk OB L&D, NRP, intermediate fetal monitoring, ACLS, BLS
- Preferred: OBED experience, High Risk/High volume experience
Best Personality Fit: Team player who enjoys a busy environment.
Note: Any requested time off must be approved by the facility. If approved, the candidate must work three shifts those weeks as well as two major winter holidays and one minor winter holiday.
