Job Description
Join the labor and delivery unit at Med City Las Colinas, where you will be part of a dedicated team caring for patients in a 12-bed facility. The unit maintains a patient ratio of 2:1, with staffing support from one unit tech each shift and one unit secretary on the day shift. You will utilize Meditech for documentation.
Responsibilities
- Circumvent and assist in C-sections.
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients during labor and delivery.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Monitor patients’ conditions and respond to any changes promptly.
Required Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in labor and delivery.
- Active Texas RN License (temporary licenses are not accepted).
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- FM and AWHONN certifications preferred.
Certifications/Licensure
- Active Texas RN License required.
- ACLS and BLS certifications required.
- FM and AWHONN certifications preferred.
