Job Summary
Post Partum Registered Nurse (RN) L&D PP Arlington, TX. This position involves providing compassionate postpartum care in a maternity unit, working closely with OB, pediatricians, and lactation specialists to support new mothers and their newborns. The role requires a dedicated and detail-oriented RN to deliver high-quality patient care during night shifts.
Job Details
- Position Description: Travel-RN-Post Partum (660) / MC Arlington / 7P-7A
- Unit Information: Mom/Baby 660; 32 operational beds; staffing includes charge nurses, RNs, PCTs, HUCs.
- Location: Arlington, TX
- Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: RN license, 1 year of experience, current CPR certification, BLS, and must have competency in couplet care.
- Preferred Qualifications: Mother Baby Charge Experience, late-preterm or transitional newborn experience, skilled in breastfeeding support.
- Additional Responsibilities: Support for antepartum overflow, postpartum recoveries, newborn screenings, blood glucose monitoring, jaundice care, perineal and incision care, feeding support, and safety protocols such as hourly rounding and bedside shift reports.
- Submission Requirements: Candidates must demonstrate experience in postpartum care and collaboration skills, with a compassionate and team-oriented approach.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
