Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Interventional Radiology – Tyler, TX 75701
Start Date: October 6, 2026
Location: Tyler, Texas
Schedule: Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (08:00 - 16:30), 40 hours per week. Call coverage required every 5th day/weekend. This is a 13-week travel assignment.
Highlights:
- Work at a Level 1 Trauma Center and primary stroke center with teaching hospital environment including residents and fellowship programs
- Coverage includes 2 IR rooms, CT, and ultrasound moderate sedation needs
- 1:1 patient ratio providing focused, quality patient care
- Interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more
- Epic charting system experience required
- First-time travelers accepted with minimum 2 years of experience
Requirements:
- Active RN license (Texas or Compact license required at time of submission)
- Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology nursing experience
- Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and PALS
- Epic charting system experience required
- Experience with procedural sedation administration and monitoring
- Proficiency in interventional radiology procedures, vascular access management, and emergency medications
