Shift: Days, 4×10-hour shifts
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
Floating: St. Clare, St. Elizabeth, St. Frances, St. Anthony, and St. Anne
Certifications: BLS required; WOCN preferred, WCC accepted
Charting: Epic
Travel Experience: Not required
Call/Weekends/Holidays: None
Responsibilities:
- Assess, manage, and coordinate wound care for 5–15 patients daily.
- Treat pressure, vascular, arterial, diabetic, and surgical wounds, ostomies, fistulas, and incontinence-related skin conditions.
- Manage wound vacs, including Smith & Nephew systems.
- Develop care plans, document assessments, coordinate discharge supplies, and educate patients.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on wound prevention and treatment recommendations.
- Perform photo documentation using a facility-provided phone.
