Registered Nurse - Med Surg | Travel | Milwaukee, WI
Assignment Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with experience in Med Surg to join our team in an inpatient rehabilitation setting. Ideal candidates will have experience with physical medicine rehabilitation, stroke, neuro, TBI, MS, Parkinson's, and other complex conditions. This position requires adaptability and the ability to provide high-quality care in a dynamic environment.
Assignment Details
- Facility Type: Inpatient Rehabilitation Program
- Work Modality: On-site
- Shift Details: 3x12 Nights
- Assignment Length: To be determined
- Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2268 (negotiable)
- Charting System: EPIC - preferred
- Floating: All other MedSurg areas including Inpatient Boarding
- Orientation: 8 hours
- Weekend Rotation: Every third as needed
- Holiday Expectations: Every other as needed
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor patient progress and report changes to healthcare team
- Provide patient education and support
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care
- Assist with patient mobility and rehabilitation activities
Qualifications
Required:
- RN License
- BLS Certification
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Med Surg
- Proficiency in skills such as I/V insertion, wound care, and trach care
Preferred:
- Experience with EPIC Charting System
