Infusion Nursing Professional, Outpatient Oncology Location Not Specified. The position emphasizes clinical expertise in oncology patient care, infusion procedures, and patient education, with flexibility to float between units as needed.
Job Details
- Certifications: BLS, OCNS; Education Requirements: At least 1 year of experience in infusion or outpatient oncology nursing; Degree Requirements: Not specified; Location Requirements: Candidate must hold a valid license, including compact license; Years of Experience: 1 year minimum;
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week;
- Additional Qualifications: Oncology experience preferred; Clinical skills include altered level of consciousness, chart preparation, chest pain assessment, COVID-19 precautions, follow-up phone calls, height/weight measurements, interpretation of laboratory results, mask fit testing, medication reconciliation and refills, vital signs, patient teaching, pharmacy calls, pulse oximetry, referrals, telephone triage, triage, universal precautions;
- Responsibilities involve cross-unit clinical support, triage, care coordination, chemotherapy education, and oncology-specific procedures;
- Candidates must include responses regarding prior work at a Providence facility and provide two references covering one year within the past three years.
- Valid state licenses must be in hand at time of submission, including any required for the specific locale.
